Is The Lantern Festival an OFFICIAL Chinese Holiday? It marks the first full moon of the new year, and the end of the Spring Festival. Since Chinese New Year was on January 22, 2023, the Lantern Festival is coming up! It’s time to celebrate it on Sunday, February 5th in 2023.
